Funnel Atlas

A shared map of the steps that earn conversion

How we name, instrument, and review a self-serve funnel so product and growth share one trustworthy picture.

Printed charts and notes on a desk during planning

The Funnel Atlas is the working model behind our engagements. Walk it with your team, or book a briefing and we facilitate the first pass.

  1. Lock the conversion definition

Agree the one event that means a self-serve win — first paid invoice, activated workspace, or completed setup that unlocks value. Vanity captures stay off the north-star tile.

  2. Place activation checkpoints

Choose two or three upstream steps that historically predict conversion. Score each for actionability: if nobody can change course when it moves, it does not belong on the live map.

  3. Write the event contract

Dictionary entry per step: trigger, properties, uniqueness, owner. No funnel tile ships without a contract QA can verify on every release.

  4. Set review cadence

Weekly volume sanity checks, freeze rules when a series drifts, and a short drop-off review when a step collapses beyond its baseline window.

  5. Name the room

Facilitator, scribe, and escalation owner. The review ends with a written brief — not an open-ended debate over a flickering chart.

What this unlocks

Teams leave with a one-page funnel map, a clearer instrumentation backlog, and a calmer growth posture. When you are ready to implement, our Conversion Event Schema and Funnel Instrumentation Sprint engagements pick up from the atlas.
